#Boosie is speaking out in defense of former NBA star #GilbertArenas after news broke that he was arrested for allegedly operating an illegal gambling ring out of his California home.
Boosie wrote: “THIS GILBERT ARENAS CHARGE IS BULLSH*T. HE SET A POKER GAME AT HIS SPOT N WON OFF THE HANDS PLAYED??WTF. THAT’S THE SAME AS GETTING A CUT OFF A DICE GAME THAT’S AT YOUR HOME. N TO MILLIONAIRES THAT’S A CLEANING FEE??”
He continued: “YOU KNOW HOW MANY SUCCESSFUL ATHLETES, RAPPERS, COACHES, BUSINESSMEN N WOMEN CALL THEY FRIENDS OVER TO F*CKING GAMBLE […] THIS BEEN GOING ON SINCE THE EARLY 1900s.”

Boosie then made it clear he felt race played a role in Gilbert’s arrest: “THEY NOT GONNA LOCK UP A WHITE ATHLETE / ENTERTAINER FOR PLAYIN POKER AT HIS DAMN HOUSE WITH HIS MILLIONAIRE FRIENDS ?.”
He also added in a follow-up post: “ANOTHER TACTIC TO TAKE THE BLACK MAN DOWN ? THE TRUTH HURTS.”
As previously reported, Gilbert was released on $50,000 bail and has pleaded not guilty to charges connected to the alleged gambling operation.
