Long Island Fire Chief Suspended After Video Shows Him Screaming At 10-Year-Old Girl On Stretcher [VIDEO]
A fire chief is catching heat over footage that shows him yelling expletives at a 10-year-old girl during a medical call.
The viral video captures the child sobbing on a stretcher and pleading, “I don’t want to go… I want to go home!” as the man shouts, “Shut the f*ck up! It’s like this with you every f*king week!”
The man has since been identified as Peter Alt, chief of the North Babylon Volunteer Fire Company. He has been suspended while an investigation takes place.
“This conduct is unacceptable and does not reflect the values of our department,” the fire company said in a statement.

The girl’s grandmother, who wasn’t home at the time, said she was heartbroken by what she saw. She told NBC, “She needed my help and needed my protection, but I wasn’t there. When you call for help… they’re supposed to help you. Not treat you like garbage. And curse at a child at that.”
The grandmother is now calling for Alt’s permanent removal: “He doesn’t need to lead anybody or anything. He needs to be fired.”
