Keke Palmer Gets Real About Motherhood: ‘I Feel Like I Just Got Back To Being Comfortable w/ The New Version Of Me’
Keke Palmer is opening up about motherhood in the most relatable way.
The multi-hyphenate, 31, shares 2-year-old son Leo with her ex, Darius Jackson.
During a recent interview, Keke confessed that she’s still in awe that she’s a mom and often wonders how Leo sees her.
She also joked that she has gotten her snap back after wondering if it would ever happen.
On a more serious note, Keke got real about how much motherhood has changed her.
“The old you is no longer. You’re never getting her back. Who you were before that baby, she’s gone.”
She added that along with meeting her son as a newborn, she also had to embrace the idea of meeting the new version of herself.
“It’s very scary,” she continued. “I feel like I just got back to being comfortable with the new version of me.”
Still, she shared that her new self is “much stronger, much more free, she comes with so much good stuff. But it was hard trying to figure out how to get familiar with her.”
