1501 Certified Ent. CEO Carl Crawford Announces New Artist Diamond The Body & Takes Shots At Former Artist Erica Banks: ‘No BBL Needed’
There’s a new leading lady at 1501 Certified Entertainment, and her name is Diamond The Body!
CEO Carl Crawford introduced his new artist in a video shared online, where he welcomed Diamond to the label and appeared to take a jab at former signee Erica Banks.
In the clip, Carl twirled Diamond around and said “no BBL needed,” seemingly referencing headlines about him allegedly sponsoring Erica’s first Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) when she signed with the label.

In a recent interview, Carl claimed he now sets aside $20K when signing female artists in case they want the procedure, explaining that he saw Erica’s confidence surge after her cosmetic enhancement.
However, Erica fired back in a later interview, clarifying that Carl only loaned her $5K of the $20K needed, and that she paid him back within a couple of months.
