Giveon isn’t sugarcoating anything about his music; in fact, he admits it’s toxic but insists it’s all rooted in truth.
While speaking to TMZ outside “Jimmy Kimmel Live” after performing his latest track “I Can Tell,” the R&B singer opened up about the deeply personal nature of his lyrics.
“My music can be toxic,” he confessed, “but at least it’s honest.” That honesty has become his signature, especially on his new album “Beloved,” where he doesn’t hold back on matters of the heart.
When asked about his most toxic trait, Giveon kept it real: “Loving too hard.”
His soulful storytelling has left more than a few fans relating to the emotional rollercoaster.
