‘Love & Hip Hop’ Alum Jessica Dime Learns The Serious Health Risks Of Getting ‘Illegal’ Butt Injections [VIDEO]

Love & Hip Hop’s Jessica Dime got a harsh reality check after learning about the dangers of her illegal butt injections.

The TV star is currently appearing on Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind, where famed plastic surgeon Terry J. Dubrow educated her on the serious, life-threatening health risks associated with attempting to remove the injections.

Jessica revealed that the man who performed the procedure, whom she said wasn’t a licensed doctor, gave her the butt shots twice using a synthetic material called hydrogel. Dr. Dubrow confirmed that hydrogel is illegal, explaining that it’s banned and not FDA-approved because “science hasn’t shown that it’s safe over the long term.”

He went on to break down the reality of removal, noting that, unlike fat used in a BBL procedure, hydrogel can’t simply be “sucked out.” According to Dr. Dubrow, removal can lead to severe scarring, infections, and in some cases, even death.
