Lil Nas X Arrested for Battery On Officer After Nearly Nude Street Stunt Ends In Possible Dr*g Overdose
Lil Nas X is facing legal trouble following a bizarre and troubling incident in Los Angeles.
The rapper was booked for battery on a peace officer after a nearly nude romp through the streets ended in a physical altercation with law enforcement.
According to TMZ, the “Old Town Road” artist is currently in custody at a Van Nuys jail for the misdemeanor offense. He is being held without bail.
Earlier Thursday morning, bystanders spotted Nas walking down the middle of the road wearing only white underwear and cowboy boots. Authorities say he later stripped completely and lunged at an officer.
Witnesses called 911, and police responded swiftly. Law enforcement sources also reported that Nas may have suffered a dr*g overdose and was taken to a nearby hospital before being booked.
While fans are used to the performer’s eccentric behavior, this episode appears to be far more serious.
