Chipotle Partners w/ Zipline To Test Drone Delivery Service
Chipotle is taking burrito bowls to new heights.
The restaurant just announced a partnership with drone delivery company #Zipline to test an autonomous food delivery service in the Dallas area.
Chipotle employees out of a location in Rowlett, TX will load food into a Zipping Point, where drones pick up the orders and fly them to customers’ homes.
Select customers will get early access to the service, which costs $2.99 plus a capped 15% fee.
