Lori Harvey Isn’t Bothered By Backlash Over Her Casting In Legal Drama ‘Reasonable Doubt’: ‘It Fuels Me’
Lori Harvey is ready to tackle another one of her passions, regardless of what critics may think.
The model recently reflected on the criticism she’s received since the announcement of her upcoming role in Season 3 of Hulu’s Reasonable Doubt. Lori, who revealed that she’s been attending acting camps since her pre-teen years, said to PEOPLE: “I’m a new actress. I think in this day and age of social media, people don’t really understand that everybody has to start somewhere… My goal is to take it as far as I can.”
Lori is set to play Chelsea, a character described in a press release as “an unpredictable force with a troubled past that resurfaces to challenge Jax (Emayatzy Corinealdi) in unexpected ways.”

The 28-year-old added that she avoids reading the “cesspool for negativity” when it comes to online comments. She added: “Honestly, I feel like if they’re not talking negatively or talking BS, then you’re not really doing it. So, it honestly fuels me. It drives me more.”
Lori made her acting debut last year in Peacock’s limited series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist. Season 3 of Reasonable Doubt returns to Hulu on September 18.
