Melody Shari Rules Out Returning To ‘Love & Marriage: Huntsville’: ‘Whenever You Walk Away From The Lion’s Den, Why Would You Go Back?’

Melody Shari is making it clear that her time on Love & Marriage: Huntsville is over.

In an interview with EBONY, the reality star expressed that she’s ready to move on from that “triggering” time of her life: “Whenever you walk away from the lion’s den, why would you go back where the lions are? To protect my own emotional health, my own mental health, I don’t allow myself to engage or be a part of a trauma that I’m still healing from. I do not watch [the series]. That is still very much a triggering piece for me because of a lot of what I went through on that show.”

Melody, who was on the series for 9 seasons, reflected on her decision to leave, saying: “I am forever surprising me. I continue to witness what it looks like to go when God says go, and the blessings that come from that. A lot of times, with the decisions I’ve made, I didn’t know what the next step looked like. I didn’t know what the future would hold or what it would yield. But in obedience, I understood the importance of trusting my own intuition and spiritual being. I knew that God wasn’t gonna fail me.”

Since leaving the series, Melody has been focused on expanding her entrepreneurial ventures, including her beauty brand, Seventh Avenue Beauty.
