Atlanta police have arrested Kelvin Evans in connection with the theft of unreleased Beyoncé music. As reported, in July, Beyoncé’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, and one of her dancers said thieves broke into their rental SUV while they were in #Atlanta for the singer’s #CowboyCaterTour. The culprit(s) made off with five jump drives with watermarked and unreleased music, show plans, and set lists. Additional items, including designer sunglasses, laptops, and AirPods Max headphones, were also stolen.
Investigators tracked Evans using electronic device pings and surveillance footage. Evans was arrested on August 26, 2025, in Hapeville, Georgia, for a parole violation and is currently held on a $20,000 bond. As of the latest reports, the stolen hard drives have not been recovered.
