Porsha Williams’ Ex Simon Guobadia Pulls Sponsorship Of Her Nigerian Residency, Says “RHOA” Star Will Not Be Welcomed Back’ To His Home Country

The ex-husband of #PorshaWilliams has formally requested that the Nigerian government revoke his sponsorship of her residency permit. According to an affidavit filed in the High Court of Justice of Kaduna State, Simon claims he initially supported her application during their marriage. However, following their divorce, he believes he is obligated to withdraw his sponsorship. He tells TMZ, “It was brought to my attention by the Nigerian Government that she traveled to Nigeria in December 2024 using a document that had been issued to her during our marriage. I was advised that, given our legal divorce, I have a duty to withdraw the sponsorship associated with that document.”

Simon further emphasized his stance by stating, “She will not be welcomed back to #Nigeria for the same celebrations this year,” referring to the annual “Detty December” festivities in #Lagos. In contrast, sources close to Porsha indicate she is unfazed by the development. Currently filming the new season of #RHOA, she remains focused on her career and reportedly intends to apply for her own residency permit independently if she plans on returning to Nigeria.
