Blueface At Risk Of Losing Music Royalties To Satisfy Six-Figure Defamation Judgment After Claiming He’s The Father Of Soulja Boy’s Young Son
Chile… #Blueface’s heated feud with #SouljaBoy might cost him his music royalties.
Quick recap: In 2023, the rappers exchanged words online, during which Blueface took several shots at the mother of Soulja Boy’s son, Jackilyn Martinez, and even claimed to be the young boy’s real father. Martinez later filed a defamation suit against Blueface, who is currently behind bars for an unrelated case, and ultimately won a default judgment of nearly $123,245 (which has since grown to about $129,150 with interest).
Now, she’s asking a Los Angeles judge to redirect the royalties that BMI and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers collect on Blueface’s behalf to her so she can recover the judgment amount.
A ruling from the judge has not yet been made.
