Xania Monet Makes History As First Al Artist To Chart On Billboard Radio Rankings
Artificial intelligence is taking over.
An #AI-generated artist known as #XaniaMonet has made history by becoming the first artificial intelligence act to chart on a #Billboard radio ranking. Her song “How Was I Supposed to Know?” entered the Adult R&B Airplay chart at No. 30. Monet has also appeared on the Hot Gospel Songs, Hot R&B Songs and Emerging Artists charts. Mississippi-born poet Telisha “Nikki” Jones is the creative mind behind Xania Monet and her lyrics. Jones developed the AI artist using Suno, a generative music creation platform. After a reported “bidding war,” Hallwood Media signed Monet to a multimillion-dollar record deal.
Y’all here for AI artists breaking into the charts, or is it a threat to real creativity?
