Bobby Shmurda Wins Over $160K After Betting On Zohran Mamdani For NYC Mayor

Bobby Shmurda appeared pleased online after placing a large bet on Zohran Mamdani to win the New York City mayoral race.

The rapper had shared his wager ahead of Election Day and hinted he believed Mamdani would come out on top.

“Time to throw the house on @kalshi. who do you think winning this sh*t?” he posted on Threads, sharing a screenshot showing a $149,328 bet with a 90 percent chance of winning.

He later posted a smiling Instagram Story on Wednesday morning, along with an eyes emoji, suggesting he was happy with how the election played out.

Mamdani was declared the winner Tuesday night. NBC News reported he received more than 1 million votes, defeating former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa.
