Swayvo Twain seems to be taking things one day at a time.
The rising artist, son of #AngieStone and D’Angelo, is thanking fans and loved ones for their support and well wishes as he continues to learn how to navigate life without his parents. As reported, Angie Stone tragically passed away on March 1, 2025, at age 63, following a traffic accident in Montgomery, #Alabama. Just months later, on October 14, her former partner D’Angelo d!ed at age 51 after a private battle with pancreatic cancer.
In a video reflecting on how he’s coping with both losses, Swayvo, who is named after his dad’s real name, Michael Archer, shared that after his mother’s passing, he isolated himself, but he’s choosing not to do that following #DAngelo’s de@th. He revealed that before his father passed, the legendary artist visited him in #Atlanta and took time to answer questions he’d held onto for years. “I gained a lot of answers to things… people asking me how I’m feeling, I feel motivated. I feel destined,” he said.
