Plies Weighs In On Donald Trump’s Promise Of $2,000 Tariff Checks By Mid-2026: ‘He Know Y’all Stupid’
Safe to say rapper #Plies isn’t buying anything #PresidentTrump is selling.
Taking to X to share his thoughts on the promised $2,000 tariff checks from the Trump administration, allegedly set to arrive sometime next year, Plies wrote, “He Could’ve Gave Y’all The Stimulus Checks Before The Holidays. But He Dont Give A F*ck About Y’all That Much To Do That!” The Heart Mind artist continued, “Yet He Rather Try & Give Them To U Right Before The Mid Terms!!!?? I Give Him Credit He Know Y’all STUPID!!!!!”
While #Trump has regularly referenced tariff dividend checks in the past, he recently doubled down on the claim. Earlier this month, he said payments would go “to low and middle income USA Citizens,” via a post on Truth Social. This week, he added an update: “We’re going to be issuing dividends later on, some somewhere prior to, probably in the middle of next year, a little bit later than that. Thousands of dollars for individuals of moderate income, middle income.”
#TJBCrew, do y’all believe these $2K payments are actually happening, or is this just political bait?
