[UPDATE] 3 Men Charged In L.A. M#rder Of Rising Singer DELAROSA
Three men have been charged with m*rder in connection to the f@t@l sh**ting of rising singer DELAROSA.
Prosecutors in Los Angeles named 27-year-olds Francisco Otilio Gaytan and Benny LiconGomez, along with 21-year-old Eduardo Lopez, as suspects. The trio faces one felony m*rder count and two counts of attempted second-degree robbery. Authorities say Gaytan and LiconGomez have already been arrested; an arrest warrant is out for Lopez.
According to prosecutors, the attack took place shortly before 1:25 a.m. on November 22, when the three men allegedly approached a parked car in the Northridge neighborhood. Prosecutors describe the shooting as “ambush-style,” claiming the suspects demanded money before opening fire, striking #DELAROSA, who was inside the vehicle with two friends. The friends were reportedly unharmed.
Bail has been set high: Gaytan’s at $2.18 million, LiconGomez’s at $2.28 million, and Lopez’s, once arrested, will be set at $2.205 million. If convicted, the accused could face life in state prison without the possibility of parole.
