Congratulations! Singer KEM Says Fatherhood Is His ‘Greatest Blessing’ As He Prepares For Baby No. 8 w/ Wife Erica
R&B star KEM is stepping into another season of joy as he prepares to welcome a new addition to his growing family.
The “Love Always Wins” artist is expecting baby number eight, his fifth child with wife Erica Owens. The couple shared the news exclusively with PEOPLE along with photos celebrating the moment. KEM, who is fifty eight, also has two daughters from a previous relationship, while Erica has one daughter from a previous relationship.
“Being a husband and a father continues to be the greatest blessing of my life,” he tells PEOPLE.
Erica also reflects on the beauty of motherhood. “Motherhood has been such a meaningful journey for me, and I’m grateful,” she says.
KEM adds that he and Erica are thrilled for what comes next.
“Erica and I are looking forward to welcoming another little miracle into our growing family,” he says.
Echoing the excitement, Owens adds, “My husband and I are excited for this next chapter. Our family is already full of love for this little blessing.”
