Kandi Burruss Pleads w/ Judge To Seal Divorce Records As Custody Battle w/ Ex Todd Tucker Heats Up

#KandiBurruss is taking steps to protect her privacy as her split from #ToddTucker unfolds.

The superstar and #RHOA alum has asked the court to seal all records related to their ongoing divorce, hoping to keep the details out of the public eye. In documents filed on Dec. 2 and obtained by Us Weekly, Kandi noted that she and Todd are “public figures working in the entertainment, television and film industries.” She also emphasized how exposing the case publicly could affect their two young children, with the filing stating that “it is in the best interests of the minor children that the proceedings and all aspects within be sealed to prevent disclosures on social media, internet, and media at large while the matter is pending before the Court and thereafter compromising the integrity of the overall proceedings.”

Kandi’s request comes shortly after Todd filed for “primary physical custody, joint legal custody and final decision-making authority.” He also suggested he was pressured into signing their prenuptial agreement and is seeking alimony if the prenup is ruled unenforceable. In response, Kandi submitted footage from their #Bravo wedding special to show that Todd was not coerced into signing.
