Kate Winslet Reveals Eminem Once Asked Her to Shave His Butt

Kate Winslet is sharing a story she says she’s “never, never told” about working with Eminem on Saturday Night Live more than 20 years ago. During a Dec. 5 appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the Oscar winner recalled that while she was hosting SNL in 2004 and Eminem was the musical guest, “Eminem asked me to shave his bottom.”

Winslet said the moment took place backstage and left both her and the other guests on Norton’s couch stunned. The actress told Norton that her fellow panelists Jacinda Ardern, Seth Meyers and Alan Carr, as well as the host, were visibly shocked when she recounted the exchange. “Well, he did,” she emphasized, explaining that the rapper “said, ‘Will you shave my butt?’ and I said, ‘I’m sorry, I don’t do personal grooming.’ Like what?”

Continuing the story, Winslet added that she drew a firm line with the request. “I’m not gonna go with a Bic and get your crack love,” she said, noting that she had “never told that story before, never in my life in public.” According to the actress, the anecdote had remained private since the 2004 broadcast. E! News reports that the outlet has reached out to Eminem’s team for comment and has not yet received a response.
