Taylor Swift Becomes One Of The Youngest Songwriters Hall Of Fame Inductees At 36
The #Swifties are going up for their girl today!
#TaylorSwift has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026, making her one of the youngest songwriters ever to receive the honor at age 36. Swift became eligible for the Hall after the 20-year anniversary of her first commercial release, “Tim McGraw,” which debuted in 2006. For her nomination, she submitted five representative songs, including “Blank Space,” “Love Story,” and “All Too Well (10 Minute Version),” to showcase her range and impact as a songwriter.
Swift is joined this year by songwriters from across genres, such as Alanis Morissette, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS, Kenny Loggins, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, and the team of Terry Britten and Graham Lyle. The induction gala is set for June 11 in New York City. While Swift sets a record as the youngest woman ever inducted, #StevieWonder still holds the all-time record, having been inducted at age 32 in 1983.
