Giants QB Russell Wilson Denies Epstein Connection After Files Mention His Name: “Absolutely Not!”
Russell Wilson, the quarterback for the New York Giants, fired back at online speculation after his name briefly surfaced in newly released Jeffrey Epstein documents — and he did not hold back.
In a fiery response on X (formerly Twitter), Wilson blasted claims linking him to the disgraced financier, tweeting, “NOPE!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT! Not TODAY satan!” He continued, saying the situation stemmed from “some random plane broker” pitching him a jet — but he had no idea it belonged to Epstein and never bought the plane.
The connection comes from email exchanges included in recently released Justice Department-related files that mentioned Wilson’s name in a discussion about the potential sale of a Gulfstream G-IV aircraft once owned by Epstein. At the time of those 2019 emails, Wilson was a star with the Seattle Seahawks navigating contract negotiations. ?
Wilson’s statement was unequivocal: “I had no idea whose plane and never bought the plane. Never talked nor never met the man.” He even added, “Thank God!!!” — a response that lit up social media and put internet speculation to rest, at least from his side. ?
Critics online — and there were critics — have pointed out that being named in legal documents doesn’t automatically imply guilt or involvement in wrongdoing. Experts remind everyone that Epstein’s files include numerous names connected through correspondence or business discussions, not necessarily illegal conduct. ?
For now, Wilson’s response seems to have steered the narrative firmly into denial territory, with fans and analysts alike zeroing in on the fact that he never met Epstein, never completed any transaction, and has made his position crystal clear to squash rumors before they spread further.
