Lil Wayne Says He ‘Gotta Work Harder’ After Not Being Included In 2026 Grammys ‘As Usual’
Is the Grammys sleeping on #LilWayne??
The rapper took to X to congratulate those who were nominated and celebrated winners following the 68th #GrammyAwards, which took place last night (Feb. 1) in Los Angeles. Despite releasing Tha Carter VI in 2025, Wayne was notably absent from the Grammy action. Seemingly addressing his omission, he added in his X post: “Wasnt included. As usual. I gotta work harder. As usual. One time for my slime Bill Beli.”
#ThaCarter VI, released on June 6, 2025, features collaborations with artists including BigXthaPlug, Jelly Roll, and Kodak Black. However, it appears Wayne did not submit the project for Grammy consideration.
#TJBCrew, do you think there’s behind-the-scenes drama between Wayne and the Grammys?
