“Today’ Co-Host Savannah Guthrie Makes Emotional Plea To Suspected K*dnappers: ‘We Are Ready to Talk’ As Search for Her Mother Nancy Intensifies
Savannah Guthrie is publicly appealing for answers as authorities continue searching for her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, who is believed to have been taken against her will.
The “Today” co-host addressed the situation in an emotional Instagram video shared Wednesday alongside her siblings, thanking supporters while speaking directly to those suspected of abducting her mother.
“On behalf of our family, we want to thank all of you for the prayers for our beloved mom, Nancy,” Guthrie said. “We feel them, and we continue to believe that she feels them too.”
Later, she issued a direct plea to possible k*dnappers.
“She’s 84 years old. Her health, her heart, is fragile. She lives in constant pain. She is without any medicine. She needs it to survive, and she needs it not to suffer,” Guthrie said.
Addressing reports of a ransom letter, she added, “We are ready to talk… We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen.”
Nancy Guthrie was last seen Saturday night. Investigators have confirmed evidence that points to her being abducted from her home.
