Celeb Publicist Ernest Dukes Details Terrifying Ordeal Of Unruly Delta Passenger Who Allegedly Tried To Storm Cockpit: ‘Got His @ss Whooped’

Passengers aboard a #Delta flight bound for Atlanta now have quite the story to tell.

Delta Flight 2557, traveling from #Houston to Atlanta, was forced to return to William P. Hobby Airport just 15 minutes after takeoff when a man reportedly became unruly. Celebrity publicist Ernest Dukes, who was on board, said the unnamed passenger “tried to get into the cockpit.” Dukes documented parts of the frightening ordeal on his Instagram Story, showing several passengers rushing toward the front of the plane to intervene. In another clip, after the aircraft had landed back in Houston, the man could be seen being escorted to the front of the plane with yellow restraints around his wrists. Dukes later added on Threads that the man “got his ass whooped. The pilot made a U-turn in the sky, so now we’re back in Houston, with police everywhere, waiting to take off again.”

Delta addressed the incident in a statement, saying, “The safety of our customers and crew is paramount and Delta has zero tolerance for unruly behavior. We apologize to our customers for this experience and delay in their travels.” The suspect’s identity has not been released, but the FAA is investigating the incident.
