Former ‘ANTM’ Runway Coach Miss J. Alexander Now Requires ‘Full-Time’ Care After Stroke + $100K GoFundMe Launched
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support Miss J. Alexander following the devastating stroke he suffered in late 2022 — a medical emergency he recently detailed in the “America’s Next Top Model” Netflix documentary.
Titled “Support Miss J. Alexander’s Road to Recovery,” the fundraiser is seeking $100,000 to assist with his ongoing medical needs.
According to the campaign, “On December 27, 2022, Miss J. suffered a debilitating stroke and was found unresponsive in his apartment by his niece.” After spending five weeks in a coma, he was left unable to walk or speak and spent nearly a year and a half in a rehabilitation center. The recovery period included additional mini-strokes, seizures, and four more hospitalizations.
The page notes he is currently confined to a wheelchair, with his right arm immobile, and requires full-time care along with regular physical, speech, and occupational therapy.
“This GoFundMe has been created to help Miss J. focus on healing without the stress of mounting bills and medical expenses.”
