Married To Medicine’s Dr. Heavenly Kimes Thanks Kandi Burruss For Endorsing Her Congressional Run Amid Pushback From Fellow Bravo Stars
Dr. Heavenly Kimes is showing love to #KandiBurruss for standing in her corner.
Sharing a clip of Kandi supporting her congressional run during a recent appearance with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Heavenly expressed her gratitude, writing, “Thank you Kand for the incredible endorsement…That meant more than you know. I love you even more for standing up and using your voice!” She added, “This campaign is personal for me,” before outlining her platform, which includes backing public schools, funding HBCUs, lowering the cost of living, improving healthcare, and more.
Kandi’s public support comes as Heavenly faces criticism from some of her Married to Medicine castmates. On the current season of #M2M, Toya Bush-Harris has made it clear she doesn’t believe Heavenly should hold a seat in Congress. Dr. Simone Whitmore appears to share that stance, recently commenting under one of Heavenly’s posts, “Your community is NOT interested in a Fool. Never has been. Never will be. They are better than you aspire to be.” Still, #HeavenlyKimes seems locked in on her goal and unfazed by anyone who isn’t on board.
