Insiders told TMZ that the Grammy-winning rapper simply had a rough moment, and the show doesn’t hold any ill feelings toward her over what allegedly happened. They added that she’s welcome back to #SNL anytime.

As reported, #Cardi reportedly threatened to leave ahead of her musical guest performance last month after overhearing the Weekend Update anchors rehesrse a joke about #NickiMinaj’s MAGA affiliation. While some sources claimed she threw her phone and broke a production TV over the issue, others who were also present have since denied any outburst occurred. Cardi herself appeared to address the allegation on X, writing, “Hmmm all these little random stories… fck it, let them talk, let them eat cake, let them come to the ballllll.”
