The Gwinnett Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office has decided not to press charges in the August 8, 2025, de@th of #Atlanta rapper Tevin Hood, known professionally as #THood.
District Attorney Patsy Austin?Gatson said her team conducted an independent review of the police investigation and the relevant law, concluding there was “no cause to prosecute the shooting de@th.” She added that her office has also met with Hood’s family and offered “condolences again for their loss.”
#Gwinnett County police had previously determined the shooting was an act of self?defense and opted not to press charges. Reports indicate that Ky Frost, son of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta stars #KirkFrost and #Rasheeda, had an altercation with T?Hood stemming from a domestic dispute involving Ky’s sister. With both the police and the D.A. concluding their investigations, the case is now considered closed.
