50 Cent Seemingly Takes Aim at T.I. in New ‘Power Origins’ Theme Song
50 Cent may have slipped a subtle jab into his latest music release.
The rapper and TV mogul recently shared the theme song for “Power Origins,” the newest entry in his expanding Power universe. The track, which features singer Leon Thomas, was previewed on social media alongside a black-and-white photo showing the two artists performing together.
But one lyric quickly caught fans’ attention online. In the verse, 50 raps, “I’m back on my dope boy grammar / Your daddy made your mama eat every box in Atlanta… But everybody know,” a line that some listeners believe could be a veiled shot at Atlanta rapper T.I.
The speculation stems from the lyric’s reference to Atlanta, which many fans associate with T.I., who has long been considered one of the city’s most influential rap figures.
The potential jab sparked debate on social media after fans highlighted the lyric and suggested the line may have been aimed at the King of the South rapper.
Neither 50 Cent nor T.I. has publicly confirmed that the lyric was directed at anyone in particular, but the line has already fueled plenty of conversation among fans dissecting the new “Power Origins” theme.
