Jill Scott Announces “To Whom This May Concern” World Tour
Neo-soul icon Jill Scott is officially hitting the road. The Grammy-winning singer has announced her “To Whom This May Concern” world tour, marking a major return to the stage following the release of her first album in more than a decade.
The upcoming trek will include 36 dates across multiple countries, kicking off later this summer. The tour is designed to support Scott’s latest album, “To Whom This May Concern,” which dropped in February and marks her first full-length project since 2015’s Woman.
Known to fans as “Jilly from Philly,” Scott built a loyal following with hits like “A Long Walk,” “Golden,” and “He Loves Me (Lyzel in E Flat).” Her soulful blend of R&B, poetry, and storytelling helped define the neo-soul movement in the early 2000s.
The singer first announced the album earlier this year, explaining that the project came after a long creative pause while she focused on personal growth and life changes. The new music reflects themes of love, heartbreak, and resilience.
Scott’s return to touring is expected to bring longtime fans back to the stage for a mix of classic hits and new material from the album. Additional tour details — including cities and ticket information — are expected to roll out soon.
The announcement signals a full-circle moment for the singer, who is stepping back into the spotlight after more than a decade away from releasing new music.
