Dwight Howard Granted Protective Order After Accusing Ex Amy Luciani Of Thr*atening To K*ll Him & Sabotaging His Custody Case
Dwight Howard and his ex Amy Luciani (real name Amber Howard) are at the center of a heated legal battle after a judge granted the former NBA star a protective order amid their ongoing divorce.
According to Us Weekly, the order requires Luciani to remain 100 yards away from Howard, his Georgia home, and two of his children, while also banning any contact through phone or social media. According to court filings, Howard alleged Luciani “thr*atened to punch” him in the throat and “thr*atened to k*ll whoever was in the car” with him during a recent encounter.
He also claimed she “devised a plan” to impact custody arrangements and has shown a concerning “pattern of behavior.” Howard further stated he and his children are “afraid to be around her,” while accusing her of making false public claims that caused him to lose “money and deals.”
Amy previously accused him of coaching his children to lie to CPS and having a dr*g addiction.
A hearing on the protective order is scheduled for April 13.
