Kimora Lee Simmons’ Estranged Husband Files For Divorce After Nearly 12 Years — Requests Custody & Spousal Support

Kimora Lee Simmons is officially heading for another divorce.

According to newly surfaced court documents, her estranged husband, Tim Leissner, filed for divorce in February after nearly 12 years of marriage. The filing cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

While the legal move is just now coming to light, the couple has reportedly been separated for quite some time. Their date of separation is listed as “TBD” in the documents, but they have been estranged since at least March 2022. A source also claims the split has been ongoing for years, describing the divorce filing as more of a formality after a lengthy process.

Leissner is asking the court for joint legal and physical custody of the pair’s 11-year-old son, Wolfe Lee Leissner. In addition to custody, he is also requesting spousal support as part of the divorce proceedings.

The former couple tied the knot in March 2014 and share one child together. This marks Simmons’ second divorce.

Leissner’s past has also made headlines, as he previously admitted in court to falsifying divorce documents in order to marry Simmons while still legally married to his ex-wife, Judy Chan.
