#DDG wants Audemars Piguet watches to stay a luxury item that isn’t easily affordable.

The rapper and streamer went off after news broke that the luxury watch brand is teaming up with Swatch on a new collaboration set to drop on May 16. The watchers are estimated to retail between $300 and $500. During his rant, DDG made it clear he wasn’t feeling the move, saying the drop takes away from the exclusivity that made the brand appealing in the first place.

Clearly frustrated, DDG even threatened to sell off his own #AP pieces, which typically run well into the six-figure range, with his watch reportedly worth around $200,000. After some backlash, DDG took to X and said, “So i HAVE to pay resale. that’s like buying a ferrari & they collab with honda & make a ferrari civic for $30k” He added, “but my bad for pissing yall lil n*gg*s off! get ya AP!”
