Paris Jackson Scores Legal Win In Battle Over Dad Michael Jackson’s Estate, Judge Orders $625K In Bonuses Paid To Law Firms Be
Returned
#ParisJackson has scored a major legal win in her long-running dispute over how her late father #MichaelJackson’s estate has been managed.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a Los Angeles judge ruled that $625,000 in bonuses paid to third-party law firms by estate executors John Branca and John McClain must be returned to the estate. As reported, Paris had previously raised concerns that the payments—made in 2018—were excessive and lacked proper approval, questioning whether the estate was being properly overseen.
In the ruling, the court acknowledged the executors’ role in turning the once heavily indebted estate into a highly profitable business, noting they helped generate “real and substantial generational wealth” for Paris and her siblings. However, the judge ultimately found that the disputed bonuses were not properly approved. A representative for the executors responded that they were “gratified” the court recognized their work, while also stating they respect the ruling and will move forward accordingly.
