Boosie is once again making it clear that he is not a fan of men wearing nail polish.

The Baton Rouge rapper recently took to X, where he called for the NBA to take action against players who paint their nails. “Ban fingernail polish,” Boosie wrote, seemingly reacting to the growing visibility of athletes who embrace manicures and painted nails.

One player known for the trend is Oklahoma City Thunder guard Jared McCain, who has openly discussed his love for nail polish. In 2023, McCain said, “I never saw anything wrong with it,” adding, “I understand girls do it. I understand men have started to do it a little more recently, but it was just something I saw and I like to get manicures and pedicures. I take care of my body.”

McCain also addressed backlash from men, saying, “The hate is funny because it’s usually grown men most of the time… It doesn’t affect me at all.”
