[UPDATE] Milli Vanilli’s Fab Morvan Latest To Ditch “Great American State Fair” – Trump Floats MAGA Rally Instead Of Musical Performances As Artists Keep Dropping Out
The artist dropping out of Trump’s Freedom 250 event keeps growing.
Fab Morvan of #MilliVanilli is the latest act to pull out of the Great American State Fair, a concert event on the National Mall tied to celebrations of the United States’ 250th anniversary. Fab told CNN that while his team had assured him there was no political alignment and that it was simply a free show for the public, the growing controversy changed his mind. “I’m not into politics,” he said, adding that the whole situation had “turned into a circus.”
Fab joins a growing list of acts who have bailed on the event, including Young MC, Morris Day, Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, and The Commodores. At the time of this post, Vanilla Ice, #FloRida and C+C Music Factory are the only initial acts still on board. With the lineup unraveling, #Trump took to Truth Social over the weekend floating the idea of scrapping the musical performances altogether and replacing them with a MAGA rally led by him instead, referring to the departing acts as “highly paid, Third Rate ‘Artists.‘”
