Rapper Daz Dillinger Accuses Cousin Snoop Dogg Of Using Forged Death Row Contracts To Deny Him Royalties
The family drama between #SnoopDogg and his cousin Daz Dillinger is getting messier by the day.
Daz has taken his ongoing royalties dispute with Snoop to Instagram, posting what he claims is evidence of forged paperwork being used in the Death Row Records business — a label Snoop now owns. The contract in question is between Daz and Amaru Entertainment, the label #TupacShakur’s mother founded after his death, and it raises eyebrows for one major reason: Suge Knight’s former wife, R&B singer Michel’le, is the one who allegedly signed it on Daz’s behalf. “This is what I’m fighting for,” Daz captioned the post. “Fake false paperwork false signatures forged signatures that Snoop Dogg is abiding by because I have a lot of equity in death row, history and business and they trying to steal it from me.”
The bad blood between the two cousins has been simmering over royalties that #DazDillinger says he’s owed from his Death Row days, and things escalated last month when he filed a lawsuit against Amaru Entertainment for unpaid production royalties. Snoop, however, is pushing back on the narrative that anything shady is going on. In a recent appearance on Glasses Malone’s No Ceilings podcast, he kept it simple — “Check the books. I have zero to hide.” With a lawsuit already filed and forged signature allegations now being thrown around publicly, it’s clear this family business dispute is far from over.
