[UPDATE] Karmelo Anthony Found Guilty Of M*rder In Fatal St@bbing Of Fellow Student Austin Metcalf
A Texas jury has found Karmelo Anthony guilty of m*rder in the fatal st@bbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf during a high school track meet in Frisco. The verdict came after the case stemmed from a confrontation at Kuykendall Stadium in April 2025, where prosecutors said an argument escalated between students from different schools.
Anthony, now 19, did not testify in his defense during the trial. The case drew significant attention throughout proceedings, with the jury ultimately rejecting claims of self-defense and returning a guilty verdict. Anthony now faces sentencing, which could result in a life prison term.
