Dwight Howard Says Estranged Wife Amber Howard Knew She Couldn’t Have Children & Tricked Him Into Marriage

Dwight Howard is making new allegations against his estranged wife, Amber Howard, amid their ongoing divorce battle.

According to TMZ, the former NBA star accused Amber — who is also known as rapper and reality television personality Amy Luciani — of having a “history of lying and manipulating” him throughout their relationship. Howard alleges Amber made false statements about him to law enforcement and has continued to spread misinformation about him during their split.

Howard also claims Amber knew she was unable to have children but “denied that fact and actively lied about” it, which he says played a role in his decision to marry her. In the filing, Howard alleges he was ultimately “tricked” into the marriage and described Amber as a “master of lies and manipulation.”

The latest accusations add another chapter to what has become an increasingly contentious divorce. Earlier this year, Howard filed for divorce, describing the marriage as “irretrievably broken.” Amber also sought a divorce around the same time, though Howard’s filing was reportedly processed first. The pair married in January 2025 after publicly celebrating their engagement and relationship.

Since their split, both Howard and Amber have made serious allegations against one another, including claims involving theft, stalking, threats, and other disputes that have spilled into court filings and police reports. The former couple’s legal battle has continued to play out publicly as each side pushes back against the other’s claims.

Amber is denying Howard’s allegations. Neither Howard nor Amber has publicly indicated whether a resolution in their divorce case is near.
