[UPDATE] Kai Cenat’s Streamer University Atlanta Auditions Shut Down Over ‘Safety Concerns’ After An ‘Overwhelming’ Number Of Fans Showed Up To State Farm Arena
#StreamerUniversity auditions came to an abrupt end today (June 17) in Atlanta.
#StateFarmArena shared a message on its social media accounts, stating, “Due to the overwhelming number of people attending today’s Kai Cenat ‘Streaming University’ audition and subsequent safety concerns, auditions have been stopped and those outside of State Farm Arena have been asked to remove themselves from the line.” #KaiCenat reshared the post to his own IG Stories.
The shutdown comes after the event — originally scheduled for Tuesday — was postponed due to crowd concerns raised by the Atlanta Police Department. Thousands reportedly showed up today hoping to meet Kai and make their case for admission into SU, but with the early shutdown and massive turnout, it’s unclear how many actually got the chance to audition in person.
