Hidden Phone Shows Her ‘Last’ Day

The investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie has taken another dramatic turn after an anonymous demand letter claimed to identify two people allegedly responsible for k*dnapping the 84-year-old mother of “Today” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie.

According to TMZ, the letter claims the sender has “a phone stashed in a secure location” containing a video of the “main guy” with Nancy on what the writer described as “probably her last” day. The message also alleges the device includes “pictures of both involved, names and addresses and age.”

TMZ reported the email came from the same address that previously sent ransom notes in the case. While referencing an earlier Bitcoin wallet, the sender reportedly included a new cryptocurrency address. The outlet said it immediately forwarded the latest message to the FBI.

The development comes just days after earlier ransom notes surfaced, claiming Nancy d*ed unintentionally shortly after she was abd*cted from her Tucson, Arizona, home on February 1. Those messages reportedly expressed regret over her d*ath but did not apologize or demand money for the return of her body.

Despite the latest claims, authorities have not confirmed the authenticity of the letters. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has said the investigation remains active and ongoing as detectives continue analyzing DNA and digital evidence. Nearly five months after Nancy vanished, no suspects have been publicly identified and her whereabouts remain unknown.
