[UPDATE] Dwyane Wade’s Son Zaire Charged With Felony After Dome$tic V!olence Arrest

Zaire Wade, the 24-year-old son of NBA Hall of Famer #DwyaneWade, has been formally charged with a felony stemming from his arrest last month on suspicion of dome$tic v!olence.

According to a criminal complaint filed Thursday (July 9) in #LosAngeles, the charge relates to a June 21 altercation involving a woman he was dating. Burbank police were called to a residence around 5:30 a.m. that day after a 911 caller reported a woman screaming. When officers arrived, they found Zaire and a woman with lacerations on her face and body, according to law enforcement sources.

Zaire was arrested on suspicion of felony dome$tic v!olence, criminal threats and false imprisonment, and a handg*n was later removed from the home. The woman was evaluated by paramedics but not taken to a hospital, and police issued an emergency protective order. Zaire posted a $50,000 bond and was released the same day. He has not yet commented publicly on the charges.
