Jacquees Says He’s Not On Usher & Chris Brown’s Tour Because He Doesn’t Want To ‘Sing Backup’

Jacquees is explaining why fans won’t see him joining Usher and Chris Brown on tour — and according to the R&B singer, he has no interest in being relegated to the background.

While discussing the tour with @streetzmorningtakeover , Jacquees was asked why he wasn’t part of the lineup and he simply explained that he doesn’t want to sing backup.

He went on to mention fellow R&B singers Tank, Mario and Eric Bellinger, seemingly suggesting their involvement includes singing background during portions of the show. Jacquees made it clear that, while he respects the artists involved, that particular role isn’t where he sees himself at this point in his career. What do y’all think?
