Remy Ma Returns To U.S. Open Nearly 30 Years After Working Security There As A Teen: ‘My 1st Job EVER’

Remy Ma had a full-circle moment while attending the 2026 U.S. Open, revealing that her first-ever job was actually working security at the tennis tournament as a teenager.

The rapper shared photos from her latest visit to the U.S. Open, along with a throwback photo of her 1998 U.S. Open security badge, which features her name, Remy Smith. She recalled working some pretty intense hours as a teen.

My 1st job EVER as a teen was working security for the @usopen from midnight til noon; 12 hour shifts,” Remy wrote, joking, “Babyyyy I can assure u I wasn’t securing sh*t.”

Nearly three decades later, Remy returned to the tournament under much different circumstances, enjoying the action from the stands while showing off a tennis-inspired look featuring a Christian Dior visor, Alice + Olivia leather top and skirt, Chanel bag and Miu Miu shoes.

Talk about a full-circle moment!
