YouTuber Austin McBroom Recreates Daejon Love’s Alleged 49ers Scam At A Car Dealership-Jokes ‘We Got Our First Victim’
YouTuber Austin McBroom put Daejon Love’s alleged playbook to the test, and the results left him stunned.
In a comedic video, the former ACE Family star walked into a dealership wearing a football helmet and approached a woman about investing with him. After she appeared to agree almost immediately, McBroom joked, “We got our first victim, easy. Now I see how he got away with this s**t.”
The stunt referenced the federal case against Love, 35, who prosecutors accuse of pretending to be a San Francisco 49ers player while targeting women through dating apps and social media. Authorities say Love used 49ers gear, luxury imagery and fake investment opportunities to build credibility.
Love and alleged accomplice Taylor Jamie Chan, 18, were arrested August 24 in Boise, Idaho. Federal prosecutors say at least 26 women across four states were defrauded of roughly $1.3 million in the alleged scheme.
