Kandi Burruss’ Daughter Riley Admits She Was ‘Entitled & Obnoxious,’ Opens Up About R@cist Messages & Hints At Cosmetic Surgery Speculation

Kandi Burruss’ daughter Riley Burruss is getting candid about the criticism she’s faced and how she views some of her past behavior.

In a teaser for an upcoming Speak On It conversation with her mom, Riley admits, “I do think I was acting a little entitled and obnoxious and a fool, but I really don’t want that to be the perception that people have about me.” She later adds, “I acted a fool and I so see where people are coming from with that. I get that.”

Riley says some of the backlash, however, has gone far beyond criticism. While discussing life after her divorce, she recalls receiving a r@cist message from someone who allegedly wrote, “All of you Black people always do things like this. I would call you the other word, but I can’t.” She also speaks about moving back to Atlanta and knowing that she’ll continue to be recognized as “Kandi’s daughter.”

The teaser also appears to hint at a conversation surrounding Riley’s appearance and the years of cosmetic surgery speculation she has faced. Kandi tells her, “The other comment that I see all the time is, ‘Why would I let you do something like that?’ Well, first of all, I thought you were gorgeous…” The preview cuts off before Riley responds, and Kandi does not specify in the teaser exactly what she is referring to.

Kandi promoted the upcoming mother-daughter conversation by writing, “My baby girl sat down with me to #SpeakOnIt!”
