Diddy’s Son Christian Combs Recalls Mom Kim Porter Breaking Into Tears When Listening To His Music: ‘She Was My Biggest Fan’
Christian Combs is remembering the love and encouragement his late mother, Kim Porter, poured into him, including the emotional reactions she had whenever he shared his music.
During an appearance on Reginae Carter’s “Heir Time” podcast, the rapper opened up about his mother and the everyday moments that made their relationship special.
“The best in the world. Always making me good food,” he shared.
Beyond making sure her son was well fed, Porter was deeply invested in his musical journey. Christian revealed that hearing his songs or watching him perform would often bring her to tears.
“She was my biggest fan. So when she see me perform, or I show her my new song, she just start crying.”
His memories offered a personal glimpse into their bond, with Christian recalling both her care at home and her enthusiasm for his work.
Porter, a model and actress, d*ed on November 15, 2018, at age 47. She was found unresponsive at her home in Toluca Lake, California, and pronounced d*ad at the scene. Following an autopsy and further investigation, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner announced in January 2019 that she d*ed from lobar pneumonia. Her d*ath was ruled natural.
She was the mother of four children: Quincy Brown, Christian Combs, and twin daughters D’Lila and Jessie Combs. She shared Christian and the twins with Sean “Diddy” Combs and welcomed Quincy with singer Al B. Sure!
For Christian, those memories preserve the mother who celebrated his music before the world heard it.
