[Update] NFL Star Patrick Mahomes’ Dad Cleared To Attend His Home Games While On Probation After Passing Dr*g & Alc*hol Tests

Patrick Mahomes will be able to have his father in the stands for several Kansas City Chiefs games this season after a judge approved limited travel while Patrick Mahomes Sr. remains on probation.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Patrick Sr. requested permission to attend his son’s NFL games in Kansas City, Las Vegas, and Cincinnati.

As part of the request, Mahomes Sr. acknowledged that he would have to submit to urine testing whenever requested by his probation officer before and after traveling.

Court records also reportedly show he completed 160 hours of community service and finished an outpatient treatment program. His probation officer told the court there had been no problems with his SCRAM alcohol-monitoring device or with his required dr*g and alc*hol tests.

A judge ultimately approved Mahomes Sr. attending most of the Chiefs’ games he requested. However, permission was denied for the October matchup in Las Vegas and the December game in Cincinnati, meaning he appears limited largely to home games.

Mahomes Sr. was arrested in Texas in 2024 on a felony DWI charge. His sentence included probation, dr*g testing and community service.

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have started the season 4-0 following the quarterback’s recovery from ACL and LCL injuries.
